Why would you do this?

You are probably asking why a company would do this.  For one simple reason, we want to say thank you to all of those who have supported us in the past year.  We all struggle with our own issues, whether it is weight, healthy eating, time management potentially depression or anxiety as a result of economic times, weight gain or other.

Today our lives seem to be driven by values that are out of sync.

We seem to value productivity and output over the humanity that is takes to develop our own genius.  In the daily strive to be overly productive we have lost our way in the ability to sustain genius.  Our attention to health, fitness, and exercise almost always take a back seat.  We owe it to ourselves and our families to be as healthy and fit as we can.

The physical state of our bodies can either serve or subvert the quest to create genius, motivational thinking, being happy and more.

We all know this intuitively. The sad part is this is tragic and set us up for further failures potentially.  Choosing the struggles of daily living over health rather than life fueled by health kills you faster; it also makes the process so much more miserable and leads to poorer, slower, less innovation and a shallower creative output.

It also has a profound effect on your brain chemistry and physiology. Exercise not only your ability to think, create, and solve, but your mood and ability to lean into uncertainty, risk, judgment, and anxiety in a substantial, measurable way, even though until very recently it’s been consistently cast out as the therapeutic bastard child in lists of commonly accepted treatments for anxiety and depression.  Given the choice of popping pills for depression, anxiety, high blood pressure, diabetes or other chronic diseases most of us would ideally choose a 30 minute brisk walk.

Clinical data supports that fact that physical exercise improves mental health.

  • A 1999 Finnish study of 3,403 people that revealed that those who exercised two to three times a week “experience significantly less depression, anger, stress, and ‘cynical distrust.’
  • A 2004 study led by Joshua Broman-Fulks of the University of Southern Mississippi that showed students who walked at 50 percent of their maximum heart rates or ran on treadmills at 60 to 90 percent of their maximum heart rates reduced their sensitivity to anxiety and that though rigorous exercise worked better. “Only the high intensity group felt less afraid of the physical symptoms of anxiety, and the distinction started to show up after just the second exercise session.”
  • A 2006 Dutch study of 19,288 twins and their families that demonstrated that those who exercised were “less anxious, less depressed, less neurotic, and also more socially outgoing.”

Exercise increase productivity and creative genius

The hard truth is that if we make the time to exercise, it makes us so much more productive and leads to such improved creativity, cognitive function, and mood that the time we need for doing it will open up and then some–making us so much happier and healthier.  To overcome the aches and pains that we result initially from muscles and joints as they awaken, use a Cold Wrap, this will allow you to keep moving without impeding your progress.

In 2012, one of the best investments you can make is in yourself!

Give yourself a dream, and give it to the entire world as well. Let your dream flow naturally and honestly from the vision you have for how life can be.  Be healthy, be happy! Dream big!
