Carol M. Forden, Chief Bottle Washer
Carol’s diverse background in healthcare, combined with her solid background of success at securing new business, increasing sales to existing clients, and launching new products gives her the necessary perspective for leadership in today’s fast-changing healthcare industry. Carol is a goal-oriented, accomplished Executive who is highly analytical, innovative, and organized with a history of turning around underperforming organizations and negotiating powerful, strategic alliances. Carol has proven success at accurately analyzing markets and creating approaches that effectively position products. She is a strong leader with outstanding communication and negotiation skills who fosters collaborative efforts, with a real talent for handling multiple responsibilities and projects.
Carol founded Arctic Ease®, a strategic healthcare entity after spending over eighteen years in the healthcare industry working with companies such as American Express, First Data Corporation – Healthcare, Abbott Labs, Novartis, and Bristol-Myers Squibb in capacities ranging from National Accounts, Managed Markets, Institutional Sales, and other management positions. Carol holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Siena College, New York.
Laurie A. Forden, Director of Operations
Laurie brings to Arctic Ease® more than 23 years of banking experience having held the positions of Vice President and Manager of Deposit Operations and Vice President of Central Operations for a $3.4-billion-asset thrift which conducted business in New England, New York, Vermont and parts of the Midwest. Laurie attended Alfred University, Inamori School of Ceramic Engineering and Materials Science, Alfred, NY.
A. Bruce Heck, Chief Operations Officer (COO)
Bruce is the former CEO of Accupac, Inc – an FDA-regulated facility that provided contract manufacturing and packaging services to the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic and Personal Care industries. Accupac was a three (3) shift, 24/7 operation with approximately 350 employees. During his tenure at Accupac, Mr. Heck successfully re-engineered the company strategy to provide turnkey product start-ups and product launch services.
James Malloy, Manufacturing Engineer
Jim brings his 30+ years experience in manufacturing and packaging equipment and systems to the team. His extensive knowledge of equipment structures, machining, electronics, CAD and production are all a benefit to Arctic Ease®. The team of Bruce and Jim is adept at conceptualizing and implementing unique mechanical engineering solutions.
Eric D. Marano, Director of Business Enablement
Eric joined Arctic Ease in September of 2009, prior to joining the Arctic Ease team, Eric held a number of IT and financial positions. Eric managed the North American division of an Italian television broadcast company from 2007 through 2009, where he redesigned the company’s finances, accounting, and business practices. Prior to joining Arctic Ease, Eric held a number of IT and financial positions. Eric received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Gwynedd Mercy College in Computer Information Science.
Italo Marano, Director of Purchasing
Italo brings the Arctic Ease® family his extensive background in sourcing, purchasing and contract negotiations. His knowledge and experience in all aspects of logistical tasks facilitates cost control while providing critical support to all aspects of the plant operations.
Eileen Nigro, Chief Process Officer (CPO)
Eileen also brings extensive knowledge of plant operations to Arctic Ease® – but her’s is from the Administrative end. Experienced in the development and generation of Operating Procedures; Eileen’s primary focus is the establishment of simple yet reliable communication, administrative and documentation systems within Arctic Ease®.
Wayne Van Patten, Senior Manager, Technical Operations
Wayne joined the Arctic Ease® team after 23 years with Accupac where he oversaw all FDA and regulatory processes. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Georgia.
